Precautions

The DV-W516E firmware update utility (UpdaterDVW516E.exe) is exclusively for the DV-W516E(with a firmware revision of 1.05/1.07/1.0B/1.0C/1.0D/1.0E).

This program updates the firmware for the TEAC DV-W516E to 1.0F.

Note that this program cannot be used for the DV-W516E with a firmware revision other than 1.05/1.07/1.0B/1.0C/1.0D/1.0E

Observe the following precautions in executing the UpdaterDVW516E.exe.
·	Extract the program onto your hard drive and execute it.
·	Do not change the program name nor its contents.
·	Read the Readme.txt before executing.
·	Do not turn off the power of your PC and the drive while executing UpdaterDVW516E.exe.
·	Eject any media in the DV-W516E before executing the program.
·	There is a case that Firmware update can not be executed if the certain Packet Write Application is actvated. In that case, please close Packet Write Application and execute this program.
< Caution > Once F/W update completes correctly, Pop-up window will be displayed in order to notify you of the update completion (It will take 30 sec to 60 sec after atarting F/W update). DO NOT operate something else and DO NOT turn off your computer until Pop-up window is displyed.
