the "CdRmUpdt.exe" program:

Be sure to extract and execute the program on
your hard drive. |

Do not change the name of the file or its contents. |

Be sure to read the included "Readme.txt"
file. |

Never turn off the computer or the drive when
the "CdRmUpdt" program is running. |

Be sure to quit all other programs, before running
"CDRmUpdt" program. |

Be sure to remove any disk loaded in the CD-ROM
drive. |
| · |
After the CD-516E, CD-524E or CD-532E firmware
has been updated,
Windows may become unstable.
In this case, reboot the computer to restart Windows. |

| About TEAC5324.exe
Program |
This is an expansion utility exclusively for
use with TEAC CD-ROM drives
(CD-532E, CD-532EA, CD-532EB, CD-532S and CD-524EA). It has the following
features: |

1. Select drive speed
2. Select the time until spin-down
3. Enable open/close of tray under windows |
|

| How to Setup
"TEAC5324.exe" |
When the self-extracting file ( ALPKG006.EXE
or SPCHG304.EXE ) is extracted, the folder "T5324V304" is created.
Open the folder and launch "SETUP.EXE" to run setup.
After setup is completed, click Start, then select
"Programs", "TEAC", "CD-ROM Expansion Utility",
and launch
"CD-ROM Expansion Utility".
For details on how to use this utility, read the "T5324.txt"
file or refer to the provided help file.
* Notice
When the setup program of Teac 5324.exe is executed,
"The utility may not operate normally in this version of Windows 95.
Do you want to continue the installation?" dialog may appear.
In this case, select Continue to proceed the setup program.
Then the setup will be normally performed.
