	This program updates the firmware revision from 1.05/1.06 to 1.07. Note that this program cannot be used for the DV-W50D with a firmware revision other than 1.05/1.06.

The contents of the updated firmware

< F/W 1.06 -> 1.07 >
·	Improvement of read/write quality for the DVD-RW.
·	Improvement of read performance for specific DVD disc with the single layer.

< F/W 1.05 -> 1.06 >
·	Stabilization was measured the access time of a full stroke.
·	Some of DVD+R/DVD-RW media write performance is to be improved.

Precautions

The DV-W50D firmware update utility (DV-W50D_FW107.EXE) is exclusively for the DV-W50D(with a firmware revision of 1.05/1.06).

This program updates the firmware for the TEAC DV-W50D to 1.07.

Note that this program cannot be used for the DV-W50D with a firmware revision other than 1.05/1.06

Observe the following precautions in executing the DV-W50D_FW107.EXE.
·	Extract the program onto your hard drive and execute it.
·	Do not change the program name nor its contents.
·	Read the Readme.txt before executing.
·	Do not turn off the power of your PC and the drive while executing DV-W50D_FW107.EXE.
·	Eject any media in the DV-W50D before executing the program.
·	There is a case that Firmware update can not be executed if the certain Packet Write Application is actvated. In that case, please close Packet Write Application and execute this program.
< Caution > Once F/W update completes correctly, Pop-up window will be displayed in order to notify you of the update completion (It will take 30 sec to 60 sec after atarting F/W update). DO NOT operate something else and DO NOT turn off your computer until Pop-up window is displyed.
