| 3. Click Device Manager tab of the System Property dialog. |
| 4. Click + at the left of the CD-ROM icon to display the
connected CD-ROM drives. |

| 5. Double-click the TEAC CD-W54E icon to display the property. |

6. Click the Settings tab.
The character string to the right of "Firmware Revision Number:"
indicates the firmware revision. Check that the character string is "1.0A/1.0X/1.1B".
Note that this program cannot be used for the CD-W54E
with a firmware revision other than 1.0A/1.0X/1.1B.
Clicking the cancel button closes this window.

(Supplementary comment)
Uncheck the check box on the left side of the DMA to disable the DMA. Click
the OK button and dialog "Do you want to restart your PC?" will
be displayed. Choose Yes to restart. The DMA setting is disabled by restarting
Windows.
