| 1. Select Setting - Control Panel by clicking the Start

| 2. Double-click the System icon in the Control Panel window. |

| 3. Click Device Manager tab of the System Property dialog. |
| 4. Click + at the left of the CD-ROM icon to display the
connected CD-ROM drives. |

| 5. Double click the CD-ROM drive of which you intend to
disable the "Auto insert notification". Then the property of
the drive will appear |

| 6. Click the "Settings" tab then clear the"
check mark" of the "Auto Insert notification" under the
Options by clicking the "check mark". |

6. Click "OK" and the dialog of "Do you
want to restart your computer now?" will appear. Then select "Yes"
to close the Windows.
The "Auto insert notification" will be disabled after
you reboot the Windows. |

(Supplementary comment)
Uncheck the check box on the left side of the DMA to disable the DMA. Click
the OK button and dialog "Do you want to restart your PC?" will
be displayed. Choose Yes to restart. The DMA setting is disabled by restarting
Windows.
